Program 4/2020 - April. Sustainable World
Special COVID-19
We premiered the 7th program of this season of Sustainable World, and how could it be otherwise, #stayathome to comply with the measures to prevent contagion by the COVID-19 pandemic.
In this Sustainable World special we want to do our bit to understand what is happening, and see what we can learn or improve for the future.
To help us in this task, we have enlisted the help of expert researchers. On the one hand, Inés Canosa, professor of the Department of Molecular Biology and Biochemical Engineering of the Microbiology Area of the UPO, is going to clarify the functioning of this virus; and on the other, Alfonso Marzal Reynolds, a zoologist and parasitologist from the University of Extremadura, will talk about the effect of the loss of biodiversity on the increase in pandemics.
In addition to the reflections of Ana, Luis and María José, we will also have the usual sections. Jesús Pinilla from SEO BirdLife brings us a very curious Confined Bird. In the What was of section, we will listen to Lourdes Morillas, who from Lisbon will tell us about her career and her situation of confinement. The recommendation of the month by Gema Bueno will not leave you indifferent and of course our boys and girls will be present who, instead of talking about climate change, will tell us how they are experiencing this situation, in a section that we have named Coronakids.
